Kazakh president to visit Iran in October: Tokayev
LONDON, April 21 - Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev is to pay an official visit to Iran in October.
The announcement was made by Kazakh Foreign Minister Kazymzhomart Tokayev during a meeting with Iranian Ambassador to Kazakhstan, Ramin Mehman-Parast on Tuesday evening.
In the meeting the two officials also talked about a summit of Caspian littoral states that is to be held in Tehran in the near future.
Iran-Kazakhstan economic and trade cooperation were among the topics reviewed by the two sides.
Underlining the importance of the activities of the two countries' joint economic commission in the expansion of bilateral relations, Tokayev said he looked forward to the eighth session of the commission that is to be in the near future.
