New social standards to be developed in Kazakhstan

ASTANA. November 7 - New social standards are going to be developed in Kazakhstan by 2008. Danial Akhmetov, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, has stated this at a joint meeting of the Parliament Houses, Kazakhstan Today correspondent reports.

"As per the sustainable development concept, which suggests three stages - the environmental, economic, and social development, we provide that there will be a new draft law on social services by 2008 currently prepared by the government that will stipulate minimum social standards in accordance with the world practice," - he stressed.
