Kazakhstan President to visit Belgium on Dec 3-6

ASTANA. December 2, - On December 3-6 Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev will pay a working visit to the Kingdom of Belgium, Kazakh MFA official spokesperson Yerzhan Ashikbayev has said.

The Head of the State will meet Belgium’s King Albert II, Prime Minister of the country Guy Verhofstadt and the Premier of Luxembourg Jean-Claude Juncker. Besides, he will hold high level talks with the European Union authority and in particular Javier Solana, EU High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy, Chairman of the Commission of European Communities (CEC) Mr. Barosso, Commissioner for External Relations and European Neighborhood Policy Benita Ferrero-Waldner, President of the European Parliament Josep Borrel and NATO Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer.

Actual issues of Kazakhstan’s relations with Belgium and Luxembourg, European Union and NATO will be discussed at the meetings.
