Leaders of Kazakhstan, China to adopt a strategy
BEIJING, 20 December - President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev and Hu Jintao, the President of the People's Republic of China, will meet today in Beijing.
As earlier reported, Kazakhstan's President is paying an official 4-days visit to China.
The Leaders of Kazakhstan and China will discuss issues concerning bilateral relations and adopt a development strategy of cooperation between the two states in the XXI century upon completion of these talks.
It is known that Kazakhstan is a leading trade partner for China among the countries of Central Asia and Eastern Europe. A volume of bilateral trade is expected to reach USD 8bln by the end of this year.
The two sides will also exchange views on a wide range of international problems. About 10 agreements of cooperation in the border control, education, energy and transport fields are expected to be signed after the meeting.
